Apple iPhone is only available on China Unicom at the moment but according to Katy Huberty, an Morgan Stanley analyst, believes that Apple will launch it’s flagship product on other two major networks, China Telecom and China Mobile later this year.
Currently Apple could only reach 10% of the subscribers out of 150 million population in China and by reaching other two major phone provider companies Apple could sell as many as 40 million iPhones in the country.
Huberty also believes Apple’s sixth-generation iPhone is likely to be compatible with China Mobile’s upcoming 4G TD-LTE network, although she notes it is “still too early to know for sure.”
We reported earlier about a redesigned iPhone expected to release in 2012 and it could be a debut phone on China Mobile. On China Telecom Apple is set to launch after gaining necessary certification and license from the country’s authorities.
