BBC: Taiwanese Phone maker HTC has lost a US patent battle with Apple. The patent is related to user interface feature called “data tapping” which is to do with grabbing information such as phone number and do other things with it.
All HTC phones will be banned from sale in the US from 19 April 2012. HTC also said that it will replace that technology in all their phones in the next four months.
