Reuters: Saudi billionaire Prince Alwaleed has bought a share in microblogging site Twitter. Prince Alwaleed also holds share in some of the top companies including 7 percent share in News Corp.
Twitter chief executive Dick Costolo valued the company at $8 billion in October, according to media reports, which would peg the size of Alwaleed’s investment at just under 4 percent.
Alwaleed is at number 26 in the list of billionaires published by Forbes and he owns sizeable stake in Citigroup.
